Amelia is a six year old, living an idyllic and simple rural life in Southern Italy during the late 1930s. On an ordinary day, walking home after working in the orchard, Amelia encounters two angels. At first, she is overjoyed and eager to tell everyone, but then doubts arise when family members disbelieve and laugh at her angelic adventure. Had she really seen angels?
